So -- here are a list of coins that have yet to be shipped, but many may be wondering when. If you have info (reliable info, that is), feel free to post it.

New York (3 week min from 10/25 -- mid November)

Mt. McKinley?

New Mexico?

Wisconsin?

San Fransisco?

Screw Coin (mid November)

Georgia?

Delaware?

Iowa?

Pennsylvania (mid November)

I think this just about covers all the gc.com unique icon coins.

(Edited: to reflect dates as I receive them)

New York?

We received our sample coin yesterday. I haven't seen it yet myself, but from what I've heard, it looks great. Full production of the coins should start soon, and I plan to post an expected delivery date when I hear back from the mint.

Yes, who cares about the non trackable coins. No one is anxiously awaiting KTAG, for example.

I am

But with the coins where people want a proof coin, it usually makes the order take a minimum of 6 weeks total (3 weeks aprox from date proof is approved)

Iowa did a pre-order but did not do a pre-pay  They said they would send out invoices about a week before coins were due.  No idea of timing on that one though

Yeah. I keep wondering whatever happened with that one. I ordered one for me and have a trade arranged for the second one I ordered. So far they have taken and confirmed the order but never invoiced me.

I also ordered and paid for the 9key coin but haven't heard anything about it recently.

New Mexico -- in the mail!!!

Is anyone receiving the New Mexico coins? If they were in the mail on the 2nd looks like someone would be reporting getting them in the "What's in your mailbox today?" thread.

I have not received mine yet.

Nor I. There's hope for tomorrow though ... the mail still runs on Saturday, right?

GA Geocoins update>>>

Today we received the sample coins from our coin run. I will be taking them to an event tomorrow so (sorry) the local cacher can see ( fondle) both coins. It is our understanding that we should have the coins Dec 1/2 and we will begin shipping straightaway. Please bear in mind that the 5 of us do not do this for a living and we will be having a packaging party to get them together.

It might take a run or two to get them all to the post office. Trust us we want them out in your hands as soon as possible, bearing in mind our schedules.

We thank you for your trust and support!

You missed the Red-handed trackable coin (although no custom icon). I have these in-hand and now need to package and ship them.

I'll doa project post-mortem to detail where and why delays occured (tracking numbers and travel), but I can say this -- it is a LOT of work to do these projects in your spare time!

99.9% of folks are patient and understand -- there's always a couple that are anxious, unhappy that delays occur, etc. I attribute this to the Internet culture where the press of a button equals instant satisfaction :P

Anyhow-- these should be shipped out in stages over the next two weeks and start arriving in mailboxes in a week to 5 weeks from now (depending on which stage yours are part of -- I figure I can mail out about 40 packages a week (that includes all the labelling, activation code transcribing, customs forms filling, cross-referencing, etc, etc.
