Archived Caches

Hi there,

 

Is there any way to find out about archived caches? I came across one while looking at someone profile that I was interested in but wonder if its possible to do a PQ for them or something?

You can't get archived caches in a pocket query. They are *archived.* They are supposed to be hard to find out about.

 

Available methods include:

 

-- Looking at a hider's list of hidden caches

-- Looking at a finder's list of found caches

-- Using the "show archived and disabled" option on the Geocaching.com maps for an area that you're interested in, like "gee, was there ever a cache in this nice park earlier?"

Cheers, just found the map method. Turned up the info I wanted.
