TXcachehunter
I have an etrex legend(not C) and I am wondering if it will show the county roads around here(ex. CR 1234) and how much detail I can fit in. I live in near Greenville, Texas. I would also like to know how much space Dallas will take up. Quote Link to comment
kerecsen
You can use Garmin's online map viewer to get coverage info: http://www.garmin.com/cartography/ (choose the appropriate map from the combo box) The Dallas-FW area is about 20 megs, Dallas proper is approximately 8. Quote Link to comment
Neo_Geo
CLICK HERE for MetroGuide, and then click on the link in the upper right corner of the page under where it says "MapSource Map Viewer". Then click in the center of an area you'd like to view and then keep clicking down until you see 0.2 miles in the lower right corner of the viewer. GeoPup&ShelpieGirl
I find that even my older version of MapSource metroguide has little dirt roads on ranches in Texas! Amazing. Quote Link to comment
