I will be in Narita for one day and part of the next day (Nov 11/12). I will be staying at the Mercure hotel on Hanazaki-Cho street. Are there any quick caches in this area? I'ld like to do at least one regular or micro cache just just virtual caches.

 

Any suggestions.

As far as I know, there aren't any quick ones in the city of Narita, or near the Narita Airport.

 

Closest one is GCHQZY, Chiba, Japan Lake View but it still requires a motor vehicle access of some sort. There is a bus stop about 1 km away. You can check the link and search for nearest.

I will have a 6 hours layover (transfer) at the Narita airport sometime next month. Does anyone know if I can get out of the airport during that time? If so, how close are the caches to the airport? Are they within walking distance? Do I need to take some sort of transportation to get there from the airport?

The site is down right now, so I can't provide any links, but you should have time to walk to GCRZP5, Narita TB Station #3 from Terminal 2. Be sure to carry proper ID (passport) with you when you walk through the security gate.
