elgecko
I ran out of my homemade 2005 GeckoCoins and since it was late in the year I did not want to make up all 2005 coins. (I make 30 at a time, and do not get out caching as much as I would like.) So I made some 2006 GeckoCoins a while. Maybe you'll find them in a cache near you. Quote Link to comment

elgecko
Thanks again for the comments. Cool. How do you make them? I use a 2" metal disc painted that I epoxy spray paint. I use 2" X 4" clear address inkjet labels. Make my design in PS and print onto the label. Cut label out to fit and stick to coin. I then coat the coin with an epoxy resin. At first I used a clear coat, but the clear coat would disintegrate and the graphics on the label would then run and fade. I have found that Environmental Technology Inc. epoxy to work extremely well. http://www.eti-usa.com/consum/castresn/castresn.htm#easy As for trading, I really have no desire to collect other peoples sig items, toooooo many other hobbies and no room to keep them. (In process of taking down my last planted tropical fish tank to convert for more lizards.) This is just my little token that I leave in the caches I find. Sorry. Quote Link to comment
Geometeacher
I was able to get ahold of an extra one of these Gecko Coins today. They are very nice, if anyone is interested in a trade, email me. Actually, I have the 2005, I don't think the 2006 is in caches yet. Edited November 6, 2005 by Geometeacher Quote Link to comment
elgecko
Actually, I have the 2005, I don't think the 2006 is in caches yet. I have not placed any 2006 GeckoCoins in caches yet. They would be released early if I use up all the 2005 I have, but I better get finding some caches. Here's the 2005 GeckoCoin: Quote Link to comment

phoenix-rose
Would love to trade sigs with any of y'all. I don't have pictures of mine yet, but I'd trade the nice hand sculpted rose sig coin made from polymer clay (they're about the size of a half dollar). If you're interested, drop me a line. ~Rose Quote Link to comment
