It may be overkill, but even in situations like this, there would be no danger of a coin slipping out. Quote

The mailer is made of very stout cardboard (anti-static floppy disk mailer) My guess is it was caught in a postal machine and the hole got rubbed into it. The hole was just small enough that nothing was lost Quote
