I don't brag about my good coin acquisitions as much these days, but I am pretty stoked at all the pathtags and awesome coins I either purchased, traded or was gifted at the "Going Coastal" event in Savannah, Ga. this weekend... here's a few that stand out that I've unpacked so far...

Got this GREAT mystery coin last week, a Carpe Diem, from me to me!!!!!

I was hoping that sometimes I'll be one of the lucky ones....... (having bidded on one at MWGB this year and didn't win it)

It's a travel bug I picked up at the event, it has a compass rose micro tag attached to it.

I recieved a small package from KD1EJ containg his samplesof the 2011 Cachin' Crow geocoins!!!!!

They are awesome.

He did a great job on these!!!

Yippee!! I've been "delightfully" invaded by Mr. Gray and received a surprise in my mailbox today! Thanks to Mr. Gray for all the hard work and extra effort to make such a FUN (and sometimes suspenseful) mystery coin event! :rolleyes: I had a blast being a part of it – thanks for choosing me as a "test subject"

Here is what came in the mail today - Zee Zee was for my wife and each of my youngest daughters got a Tap Tap. These coins are awesome!

Can someone post another picture of the freezing coin? To me, it looks like a plumber's crack and I have been looking at it for some time trying to figure out another view. :(

Beautiful and functional and 4" - HUGE!! I have a Mapamundi (sp). It's 3.5" I especially love the Antique Copper version. :D

 

However, sadly, the cost is prohibitive for a single coin - huge or otherwise. Don't get me wrong - I understand the price - just can't do it... :)

I have been flat out with work so there has been a delay in posting to this thread, last week in my mail box I was surprised with totally unexpected gifts from some very generous cachers/coin collectors.

Glad to hear the coins arrived safe and sound, and that their timing was spot on (although I wish you hadn't needed the cheering up, sounds like a crazy day at work!)

No one hurt...my office was actually hit twice today, a near miss, and the railing on the ramp up to the front door was hit the end of last month...maybe it's time I take the hint.
