You should feel very special Naomi. I made 25 Golden Nerds, and gifted them to each of the members in the group, so they are not easy to come by :(

 

Oh, it's not that golden nerd, lol! In my dreams, maybe, but in real life, no. Solan's nerdz are just a goldish colored glitter :santa:

 

Now, if you want to send me a real golden one to compare it to, I promise to take good care of it :D

In my mailbox today: 2008 Alaska Geocoin, featuring the Polar Bear...

The Bronze & .999 Pure Silver coins were exquisite in their detailing of 'Nanuk',

but the gold leaf on .999 pure silver geocoin stunned me with its 3D relief fine detail:

On to packaging several bronze coins as 'thank-you' gifts to various national/international cachers,

so they can open their mailboxes & find a polar bear looking them in the face!

 

PS: If you've got deep pockets there's actually ten of these minted from one ounce of solid gold...!!!

and yes, they're numbered and trackable on geocaching.com just like the rest of them!

Great, can't wait to see my little silver Nanuk. Even better: today the 2005 Alaska coin arrived. The Moose looks beautiful sitting next to the 2006 Wolf. :rolleyes:

Sure.

 

A. Be a member of the Hides and Finds Geocoin Club (HFGcC) and get them periodically

B. Find someone who is in the club, who bought more than one, and actually has one left (sorry, mine are gone)

C. Post a request in the trade thread in case someone who traded for one doesn't want it anymore

However, I quickly got over it after I opened a package today addressed from "Another 21 Person". :lol: Someone with a big heart (and a keen taste in numerals) sent me a cool "Do Unto Others" Porcupine geocoin with the number 21 on it. :unsure:

If it helps at all, I did think of you when I found out they were #21 -- but only for a split second :unsure: Guess, I'll have to guard my Anthus Traveling Geocoin Binder at the event this weekend.
