2m Freqs Around Washington

Recommended Posts

I got my tech+ license a while ago to communicate with my Dad who is a full time RVer in the desert. We had a pretty good time at it before he got internet access over his computer.

So now I have a 2M radio and do not really use it. I am wondering what good frequencies are to have on hand in Western Washington in case of disasters or wide spread communication outages.

Thanks for any tips or links.

If your call book address is correct, you must be in Bothell so I suggest you go HERE and go to the Announcements,Events and Key Information page to see a list of freqs available. This is the Auxliary Communications Service, a division of Emergency Management Services for the city of Seattle. Who knows, you might want to get involved in emergency communications.
