Jhb Caches

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I won a trip to JHB on 5FM recently (lucky Me :-), so will have a couple of spare days to do some geocaching.

Could some of you Gautengers perhaps post a list of some of your favorite caches in the JHB/PTA area, so that I can plan my trip.

I've never really met any of you before, so maybe let me know if you would be interested in an event cache. I know you've just had a big one so maybe its too soon for another ?

thanks

Well for one, I think, you should do Stoddard's Demise. It seems the Vaalies are unable to crack this one. So far two have done it and ONE from the KZN sandpit. Come prove to us that there is indeed intelligent life in Slaapstad....

Try to do Shakespear's Garden (GCMW4J) and The Tree in the middle (GCMY3D). They are close to each other and in a beautiful area.

So the question hanging on every wannabee investigator in Gauteng’s lips, is whether the intrepid Discombob will indeed solve Stoddard or whether he will head back south defeated….. only time will tell……

Thanks guys.

I'm afraid Puzzle caches are not my strong point, but I'll give stoddards a bash - don't hold your breath though - things been very hectically busy down this side, so i hope I get some time to try solve it.

Its just that everyone else has scared me so much already B)

Well, i seem to have the co-ordinates, but it seems a bit too easy, so perhaps i have missed something? there are a whole lot of clues i can;t figure out - perhaps they are just red herrings?

I guess we'll only know when i get to JHB
