South Surrey Scavengers
As a category manager is there a way to create sub-categories within your own category? eg. I manage Canadian Benchmarks and I may like to create sub-categories called monuments, survey disks, and other types. The master category would not have any waymarks in it. All the waymarks would be in one of the sub-categories. Link to comment
+WalruZ
That raises the question of how much influence you, as a "container category" owner have over the creation of categories within the container. Link to comment

In your case you can have a variable called "Benchmark Type" which can take one of the values: Monunument, Survey Disk, Other. If you want to add other variables you can (for example Control Type: Vertical or Horizontal). Link to comment

I asked this question awhile ago. I was informed that ONLY Groundspeak owns container categories. Link to comment
South Surrey Scavengers
Thx for the input. I think I'll use variables to separate the different types. Link to comment
