Maybe its a temporary problem. The advantage of going to the San Diego Geocachers site is that there's a drop-down box for image size if you really want a huge panorama of a landfill. I'd honk but I haven't made that trek myself so I'll be quiet for once. That pic' deserves to be honored as the banner shot for Geocaching.com. Here's my take on the shot. Queen of the mountains! So where's the hi-res version of that shot dang it? Please, somebody send me the hi-res version. Drives me crazy trying to optimize dinky images that have been reduced in size the wrong way such as is done when posted on Geocaching.com. So much detail is lost and so many color artifacts introduced. Took some trickery in this case to reduce the fringing and color artifacts that surround that wild-mountain woman.
