Is this where you went to school Harmon? 1915? The year you graduated?

Jodi dear,

Don't that beat all! How did you come by the pi'ture?

Thought you might enjoy seeing a later shot when once

I returned to that old school in my '42 coupe in hopes

that they might change their mind and give me a passing

grade for my sixth year. Fact is I only spent two weeks

in th' sixth grade owing to th' fact that my sixth-grade

teacher said that she was " ... done with me!"

Didn't seem t' bother my parents ... they jusy hired me

out for th' rest of th' summer to a hog farm.

Time gone by.

As you can see from the sad condition of th' place they

closed th' school down right after they discovered that

I had turned a pen of hogs loose in th' building during

summer vacation. Looks like it could use some whitewash

if y' ask me.

I swear, who'd a thought that they would name the school

after me.

Wonder what happened t' ol' Olga Angus by th' way?

Anybody seem her around? Boy howdy, round is what

she was.

Harmon's school looks a little, shall we say, askew...this could explain some things...

:anibad:

Askews me Jodi, I had nothin' t' do with that

school bein' tilted t'ards th' lower grades.

Don't take much smarts t' can see why I got

stuck in sixth grade so long.

Don't miss it!

Will there be PUD cake?

Wait a minute!

WHODAT?

Hmmm...it looks like there is more than one ghost in your machine.

(I, for one, am glad to have the company. It was getting lonely in here...)

.....when you least expect it...Mr.Man

O NO! ... NOT AGAIN!

I've tried everything ... must be the Quad-Core

64-bit thingy ... still got computer gremlins.

Help me, I'm hypnotized!

Would y' look at this, supposedly a pit crew for a desert

race ... sure, you betcha, looks more like Team Fatman,

Splashette, and Splashman waiting on somebody t' bring

food and drinks to them. Lovely bunch of coconuts?

unsure.gifI thought you didn't steal pictures from FACEBOOK anymore?tongue.gif

"Anymore?" ... not guilty as charged. Sent to me by way

of email from Team Fatman.

Of course I realize how likely it is that it was seen on

FaceBook well before it came my way. More or less you can

view my humble posts as the "Sanford and Son" show of the

Geocaching Forum threads. Yep, I specialize in leftovers

and collectables.

That's o.k., don't worry about me ... I'll get over it.

Jodi in Wonderland!

Honk if you found this hide.

Hey...I can actually honk for once...(unless it's not the one I'm thinking of. Is there more than one of these?)

But wait ...

There's more!

In Wonderland everyone starts out with all of the Smileys and

then unfinds them as time goes on. Curiouser and curiouser

wouldn't you say?

Honk if you've done it.

Honk, honk!! Congrats on finishing, Harmon!!!

Finished ... you got that right. You A-List

finishers are amazing, B-List for me.

C-List for me...

(Not sure exactly what the "C-List" is but I think it refers to the cachers that wait and "C" who the insane cachers are... )

James,

You've got that right, pure insanity. In my own case

I passed back and forth within three feet of the final

goal six times without knowing it and finally scored

it the seventh time, and that's knowing the trails as

well as I do.

For me the two-day B-List was my ony hope because of

my plodding pace. Thank goodness the coordinates were

very accurate with one very minor exception, credit

to ThePolarBear for such good work. For sure this

challenge is no place for Bison tubes in great big

Mountain-Laurel bushes.

So now my GPS receiver holds all of the coordinates

for this challenge. I'll sell the coordinates either

as a set or individually on the following payment

plan:

($100.00 per waypoint) X (waypoint number) = Cost per waypoint

except for the final waypoint (Number 11) which is $1,500.00.

For Premium Geocaching members waypoint number 1 is free.

Wait, there's more ... if you order in the next ten minutes

your order will include a set of plastic shot glasses featuring

photographic scenes of the Iron Mountain trail system.

Don't miss this special offer!

Cash only, no refunds.

Life is good,

Harmon

Say who?

les chapeaux

Funny!! I recognize a few... But methinks you might have a wee bit too much time on your hands, Harmon!! Get out and go csching, whydontcha!!

I, too, recognize several of those hats. It occurs to me that there could be a puzzle cache in that array of chapeaux...

In the meantime, it also occurs to me that there may be a marketing opportunity here. A "Cachers of San Diego" paper doll set!

Now see here ... that image has been in the cooker

for weeks. Besides, I'm recuperating today from

my second Iron Mountain conquest of yesterday.

In truth with Photoshop CS5 selection tools and

Lightroom 3.4 collections and tagging features

a montage like this one is easily produced.

San Diego Geocachers as paper dolls huh? ... let me

get back to y' on that thought James. The very idea

that any image of mine might turn into yet-another

incomprehensible puzzle cache is more than I can

bear. Isn't there a rule prohibiting puzzle-cache

saturation?

Honk if you've done it.

HONK! HONK! HONK! I've actually done it 3 times...

Congratulations on finishing it... Looking at the picture, methinks that you were thinking too much while plodding around. Reminds me of "My parents are in the iron and steel business! My mom irons and my dad steals..."

Well, now I can archive IMC and move the WP's around a little and create a new cache.:laughing:

"Well, now I can archive IMC ...," I see, on the principle that

it's hit bottom once Harmon has done it. Why I oughta ...!

Honk! Honk! ... I know that place, it's just up th' hill

from the Old Iron Bridge. Used to be a nice place 'til John

retired into a life of doin' nothin' but worrying about his

run-away Geocaching find-count.

The amazing part of the story is that Jodi still keeps that

fabulous smile on her sweet face no matter what John is

up to. Ain't she th' sweetest thang?

Come t' think of it ... I should 'shop those shots into one

of those stupid Cialis commercials. You know, John and

FisnJack side-by-side in matching-bathtubs holdin' hands

t'gether.

Browsing through my photos the other day and came upon ...

This!

Can anybody explain it?

Looks like a great place for a picnic! :P

It seems to me that the photograph perfectly

expresses an intent to avoid sitting down at

all costs, whether for a picnic or for some

other, shall we say, nefarious reason. Only

the perp' would know for sure.

Ants perhaps? ... gophers? ... snakes?

One thang f'r shore ... you wouldn't thank a

vine-ripened ol' gal like that could be so

flexible.

Hmm, per'aps she's one o' them east-county

kneck-tanners y' hear about now and then. If

so then I've got a rare photograph here ...

kneck-tanners try t' stay out of th' public

eye for an obvious reason as anybody can see.

Come t' think of it there's a chance here for

another collectable series ... Does This Pose

Make My Body Look Weird (DTPMMBLW)?

Uh-oh!

Jodi's Smackdown!

I think I see where you're going with this Jodi dear.

So now I can become a travel bug and you can send

me far away, is that it?

On the other hand thanks for the stylish new glasses.

To be honest it's not easy wearin' donuts beside my

nose day in and day out.

Kiss-kiss,

Sweet ol' Harmon

Note to Self: Dang! might as well put my boots on.
