A weird thang happened to me during one of my Iron Mountain HoF hikes.

While I was behind a bush doin' my bidness I heard somebody clopping

along the nearby trail. I peered through the bush and was shocked to see

an ever-so famous female Geocacher crawling up onto a big, round, trail-

side boulder.

Darned if she didn't begin to dance atop the boulder, you know, doing

some sort of weird, snake-like movements and all the while moaning and

groaning with eyes closed and lips quivering as though enslaved by a

rapturous incantation of the third kind.

Well, believe you me, I zipped up and crawled down through the bushes

lickety-split to intersect the trail and, once on the trail, hot-footed it for the

parking lot.

My gosh, if that ol' snake-charmer had spotted me no telling what would

have happened. Now that I think about it ... maybe I should have stood

my ground. It ain't often you'll see a Geocacher behaving like that.

Luckily I got one shot of th' ol' gal whilst she was doin' her thang up on

that boulder. Thought I should post th' photo here as a public service so's

the rest of you can be on th' lookout for that wriggling momma.

Y're welcome,

Harmon

Note to Self: Hmm, Puppet-warp with Photoshop CS5 may turn out to be great fun.

Harmon...use it or lose it? You may wanna check yer "thang" between the zip up and the crawl down before the lickety-split. That may explain the dance. Darn, I missed another celebration!

Honk if you don't know where this is!

HONK! Clueless!
Clueless as well but if I had to guess I would say on South flank of Mt Woodson looking at Iron Mt area.

Ahh, Fisnjack, methinks you are not as clueless as you let on. Clearly, you were able to assimilate your knowledge of the area into a pretty darn good guess.

For the record, it's on the east flank of Woodson looking south at the Iron Mountain area.

So now we need aerial views of all HoF locations.

Great!! Go check out the Iron Mountain Hall of Fame cache page...

Bless you my son, you have a razor-sharp mind. What a

nice surprise for James and I.

Now who will handle the flyovers for the other HoF areas?

Can't imagine that I'll have to resort to Google Earth

images.

Hmm, now that I think about it, here's another.

Sycamore Canyon HoF panorama

Comes in three sizes too.

And ...

MTRP HoF

Possibly?

Mt. Woodson / Lake Poway HoF

Uhhhh, according to Harmon we aren't ALLOWED to honk near here!!! :);) At least not in a Yeep!!

Honk! it's the duality gate where one can find two actual

containers. Yes, park the Yeep and walk from the gate to

score one of the hardest to spot hides in Sycamore

Canyon.

Honkity honk honk!!

Thanks pal, for leaving the word "dodder" for

others to use in describing my hiking gait. Not

to name any names of course.

Geyser erupts in Penasquitos Canyon. No caches are believed to be lost

but PQGeoTrekkers geomobile was nearly drowned. PQGT denies any

responsibility for the incident.

Yo SD cachers. I don't cache in SD, but I take a lot of pics. Can

I provide some material for your photoshopping pleasure?

O'm'gosh, it's our Zonie pal again. Did you download the trial

version of Photoshop CS5 like I told y' to?

Photos are always appreciated on this thread. Surely you have

some shots of those cute, little-bitty Arizona snakes to share

with San Diego Geocachers.

Hey everybody, notice that he's inviting us to 'shop his images.

I never do 'trial' stuff because I hate to learn something that I can't hold on to and if I like it then it'll cost me. I've said a couple times before that this is the best thread in the forums (see posts 2003. 2157, and 2309), but I don't plan on heading to SD so I figured I see if I could post some of AZ, and YES you better photoshop them. I want to see some funny stuff.

Let me find some good ones.

Y' got t' throw that cell-phone camera into the river.

It was my a new camera, but I hadn't messed with it much and was rusty with the settings. Then having to set it up for the timer on the ground, it got all dusty and dirty and the picture came out kinda crappy.

Jamul! Jamul!

Hee. hee. Where did you put my hand? :o

On a camel there's only one other place your hand could be.

Did somebody say my name?

For sure, and due to your entry here I searched for caches

with "camel" as the key word. There's a gazillion of them!

San Diego County has at least one actual camel-cache,

maybe more, and LLOT has a camel odor about him.

So name five types of camels.
