Honk if you know where this is ...

Kayaking ex-nun!

Full resolution if you click the image.

It must be a forbidden picture of the ex-nun.

BTW: I am hanging out with Kawikaturn and kids here in CO tonight. I'm taking them out on the trail tomorrow.

Got to look into that error. Checked and saw it on my laptop but not on my desktop.

Seems odd, the image is stored on the Panoramio site. Must be an antivirus setting.

So here's a wee little version that you can view on your Windows 95 PCs

and your tiny little 13-inch CRT monitors. Sheesh! old people ... I swear.

Here's my question -

Let's say you've been Geocaching solo for several outings up on the high ridges that flank Otay

Mountain and during each and every outing you have seen flights of a Border Patrol helicopter

buzzing around you and you've just finished with a find and suddenly you notice a fanny-pack

lying beside a nearby water hole and also notice that there's lots of large boulders that a person

could have hidden behind ... what should you do?

Move the fanny-pack 528 feet, add a logbook, and submit it as a new cache, of course!!

Now that's what I was hoping for, insight ! Trouble is that the Commie-Pinko Reviewer

guy has approved more than enough hides in that area to fill all the gaps. No chance

at all that I could have planted a new hide, darn it.

Honk if you know where this is.

Is this in MTRP?
Nope, further east.
Mast enterance to MTRP

That fence looks exactly like the one I knocked over at Mast (the rangers were very cool about it...) but no, methinks that this is furtherer east still... nudge, nudge, honk, honk, say no more...

Our honk is: Forrester Creek in Santee, near where the bridge for 52 is going over, close to the bikepath.

If not that, then we're Honkless in Lakeside................. :)

Yes, that's a pedestrian bridge connecting the new

southeast parking lot to the east parking lot at the

YMCA. Photo taken while scoring Geocache "Y Hide."

I love these mystery things you do SD-Rowdies. Keep em up. I hope I can solve the next one... :D
Wow! you're the first to like them.

Mostly Harmon just posts these things because he knows that they annoy the rest of us.

:D

Why I oughta ....

Why I oughta... Keep doing them to annoy and amuse people.

Posted this image because of the cheesy hides that are showing

up along the fifty-two near Santee. It's a photo of Sandy of SD

Rowdies purchasing cheese in Vaison-la-Romain, Provence.

In the near foreground of the image is a glass container filled

with edible green stuff. In France nothing edible goes to waste.

Question is: What is the green stuff and what is it called?

I'm guessing pureed frogs... or snails... or both... But I'm waiting on an expert's (my mom's) opinion...

Is it Pesto.

The wife who is pure Italian said it's a mixture of pine nuts and garlic with Olive oil and other herbes that they spread on bread. But then again she is Italian and not French 000201DD.gif

Not pesto but that's very close ... not pine nuts, not frogs, and not snails.

Spread on bread? ... quite right, spread on slices of a baguette to be precise.

Ain't Geocaching educational? All due to the fifty-two mind you.

Gorganzola

Nope, Gargonzola is a cheese made from the milk of exhausted bovines. Really.

Well, you know, except in America where all cheese is produced from bovine

milk and then chemically doctored to emulate the appearance and taste of

classical cheeses. Of course that begs the question, what milks are used to

produce the classical cheeses?

But we digress ... back to the bottle of green stuff if you please. Stay with me on

this, in the end it has a connection with Geocaching in Provence. Really.
