I wonder who warned him about the socks? :D

Yeah, sure, I wonder who?

The other breaking story is that some of them suspicious

Colorado Geocachers are whining about owning our "This

just in" thread based upon the laughable theory that when

RocketMan moved to Denver the Forum threads that he

started moved with him.

Records show that RocketMan was first and rightly assigned

to some redneck state like Arkansas or Alabama rather than

Colorado. It is a high crime in Redneck country to transport

Forum threads across the Mason-Dixon Line and so no such

claim is valid.

Besides, when Zoltig was zonked out on the grass the San

Diego group stole the thread back for us. So there ... dude!

... don't make us call Lisa.

Just before our group left on the 'difficult' run (translation ~ ROCKS) OUR Rocketman made an announcement that everybody needed to 'bunch' their socks because the 'unbunched sock police' had spies in the area.......................you could hear the sounds of socks bunching as we left!!! :D:D

The CO cachers that we met are some of the nicest, coolest, and funnest people you will ever meet! :D

The Splashes :D:D

Who is this cacher and exactly what is he doing to Mexican soil? Inquiring minds want to know :)

 At least his socks are bunched up... :)

Boy that's a relief! I thought it was that commie-pinko reviewer guy.

Shouldn't there be a damp spot on the ground?

We surveyed this location and wanted to make sure that the location of the border was well marked.

But this is not the only thing that FlagMan was doing today...

Next Event that FATTBOY and Flagman are at, I want to see him repeat these antics. 00020148.gif Fall campout would be a good time for this. Although I don't think FATTBOY would like the whipping with the stick. 000201E8.gif

Somehow, the best one didn't make it. Suffice it to say that extracting the cache was a very delicate operation!! I just hope FATTBOY respects me in the morning... :)

Zoltig demonstrating how to hike above sea level during Colorado event.

Thanks, Harmon. Thanks alot! :D

I now see what happens 'round the forums.

A guy takes off for yet ANOTHER weekend in mountains (above timberline) and you break out the photoshop tools. :D

Well I guess that it probably sums it up pretty well, tho! Sometimes a power nap at 12k can make a difference. I can sleep lightly knowing that Jessie will let anybody (Splashette) sneak up on me. :)

"Mountain lions and bears! Come and get it! Dinner is served!"

BTW! I announced the "Sock Warning" prior to the event run knowing full well that pictures would be placed and scrutinized by forum hooligans! :)

Hooligans? ... why how you talk. We all can see by your means of

repose in that photo that you are a man of style, social grace, and

adventurous spirit. There is no doubt, bunched-socks make the man.

Still I can't help wondering what your submissive position suggests

to a dawg like Jessie or, more to the point, to wandering wolves.

There was a good size group of San Diego Folks that made the trek out to Colorado for the Mountain Luau and 4x4 Caching Adventure event. We had The Splashes, Team Reid and Hubby, Habu!, Kickback Jack and Barbara and Wally Baller. I had the pleasure of leading the bunch on a some fun trails on the Thursday and Friday before the event.

Honk if you know where this is.

Kind if an odd way to handle a Ford Ranger.

Couldn't use it for a hide because there's

already a nearby cache and you know how

it is with that Commie-Pinko reviewer guy.

Honk!! Looks like the one out in Lakeside above the Walmart near the dctalk007 cache war zone...

Excellent honking, definitely in DuctTape007's war zone and very near the GI Joe hide.

There's another image of the wreck on the GI Joe web page but it shows the truck in

upright position. Must be the coyotes are rolling it further down the hill to strip parts.

A big bush kept it from landing right on the trail so next roll we must walk around it.

1-Room With a View - MTRP

2-Todavi, your sister

3-You miscounted!! This was really only 3999!!

He owes it all to me ... I drove up at Mast Trailhead yesterday just as they were

heading toward the trail. I walked with them into Spring Canyon and then took

separate paths at the service road that heads up to the landfill ridge. Nice to

meet you sis.

I really look up to people like LLOT and his sister ... they both remind me of the

Lemurians of Telos that are said to be eight-foot tall. Meeting a pair of Lemurians

just makes me want to ascend.

Tip 1: Do not wait until the very last minute to come up with a milestone banner. Prepare one in advance. It's not as if you didn't know that the milestone was coming...

Tip 2: Hold the banner so that it does not reflect too much light into the camera's lightmeter.

Tip 3: Frame the shot so that no one can see your socks... :D

Tip 4: Don't bite the hand that lets you score three solo FTFs... :):)

Well, I don't quite know where to begin AGAIN! I came into the forums hoping for a laugh, and I wasn't disappointed. Harmon, you sure do have a way with words ... AND fixin' up photos. TFTLaugh

Barrie,

I love it when I've caused somebody to smile and/or laugh.
