+ChapterhouseInc
there are many variations on how to waymark historic sites--location (state, county), type (action, building). the current historic section is very limited in scope. there are many locationless caches featuring these types of markers. so i guess i would like to create a broad category of 'roadside historical markers of america'. +Tsegi Mike and Desert Viking
That would have to be broken down by state. Im eager to see Arizona have a historical marker category. Link to comment
+ChapterhouseInc
yea, breaking it down by STATE would be easire to search through--there are HUNDEREDS in each state. i just want to category to be there so i can mark all the spots i have found in the past few weeks. Link to comment
+ChapterhouseInc
i did find the georgia historical markers category, in historic things. however, a good portion of them are places more than things, and sometimes actions. the 'thing' in the equation--the historic marker--itself is not historic, the place it is describing is. and what about the other states? i have 2 markers from south carolina. i know that you know 'field of dreams'.....if you build it they will come....there is the voting thing to allow the 'public' to have access.
