+Thrak Posted October 16, 2005 Share Posted October 16, 2005 Great News!!! I just got off the phone with Groundspeak and the coins WILL BE TRACKABLE. They will have their own unique icon. All 4 coins in this series will share the same prefix, which will be HC (Holiday Coin). Because it will take up to 2 weeks to get the codes, another 4-5 weeks to get the minted and to my door. The coins would not be expected to be mailed out until the week after Thanksgiving, which should be just in time for the Christmas decorating season. Each of the following coins in the series will reflect somehow on geocaching, just like finding a cache under a tree is like getting presents under the tree at home on Christmas morning. The next coin may have something to do with Golden treasure at the end of the rainbow and be a unique shape . I sure hope they get here in time to put one out as a FTF prize in a cache. I'm KEEPING one for ME but the second one I ordered to use as an extra special FTF for someone. I know if I found something like this in a cache I'd be unbelievably stoked and I'm hoping to make someone's Christmas extra special. I look forward to your next coin. Link to comment
