EvanChavez
I recently purchased a GARMIN GPSMAP 60CS for $384.98 at www.buy.com It was NEW, not a REFURB. I looked on ebay and nothing came close to this deal. Quote Link to comment
+filler & bcat
FYI, there are cheaper regularly-priced non-refurbished 60CS units to be had on the web. GPSExplorer is still offering a $50 rebate to bring the cost down to $379.99. There are also some outfits searchable via Froogle which beat the GPSExplorer price after rebate. eBay is a bad marketplace for high-quality, in-demand handheld electronics like the 60CS. I shopped for weeks before I decided on a vendor, and my stalking auctions on eBay led me to believe that there was no deal to be had via the auctionhouse. Quote Link to comment
+whitecrow
According to my Etrex manual, Garmin will not honor warranty work on E*** purchases and you need a sales slip also. Quote Link to comment
+Panda Fan
I bought my 60cs about a year ago from buy.com as well. They were the best price back then as well. Quote Link to comment
+meangreen
got my NEW 60cs at GPSNOW.COM for $392... fast shipping, got it 3 days later. Plus they have all the extra goodies and mapsource stuff cheaper than Garmin.com. Dont take chances with refurbished. My experience is there has always been something not right with the functions. Been through a few VCRs and DVD players..LOL overstock.com ... always a good price so who can complain..right! I bought an extra soft carrying case lately by mistake that is for most garmin hand helds if anyone is interested. Or will trade it for a AC adapter fitting my 60cs, I been killing lots of batterys these day... happy hunting.... Green Quote Link to comment
+HALFC
I just got my 60cs thru the buy.com website it was $389.00 and also had a $50.00 rebate so the price ended up at $339.00 Had been considering getting the 60c but the rebate tipped the scales big time Quote Link to comment
+trippy1976
TigerGPS.com has new 60CS's for $376.81 with no rebates to deal with. I bought my 60CS from them back when it was pre-order and still think they are great. They have the C for $334.93. I'd probably save the extra bucks and get the C if I were to do it again. I haven't used the compass in ages. I used to think it helped, but I get along just fine without it and am too lazy to calibrate it Quote Link to comment
