+Milbank Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 I know were there is one in a National Park about 14 miles from me. It's in the same park I tried to place my first geocache only to find out after a 6 mile hike that I could not place a geocache in a National park. I just can't wait to get into the park with my camera and gps now and start Waymarking.
+treasure_hunter Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 Yeah Im sure the Dept. of Fish and Wildlife would just love it when everyone flocks to the nest of an bird that is Endangered. And who knows, maybe everyone would be responsible enough not to mess with it but theres always a rotten egg in every dozen. I would be cool if everyone was responsible.
+Milbank Posted October 2, 2005 Author Posted October 2, 2005 (edited) They often show them on the news, so I don't see were it would be much different. I could see it doing more harm showing them on the news, then when people come to Waymarking and search the category becuase they are really interested in seeing them. I would love to see a Bald Eagle nest. I have only seen one at Dolly Wood in TN. They have a netted area in the hills inside the theme park were you can view the Eagles, its really nice. I vote yes, hoping that everyone is responsible.
