+The Hornet
......the caches, not the previous owner Does anyone one want to adopt any of The Hornet's caches? I've just bought another house and over the next few months we shall be moving there, eventually leaving Hertfordshire for good. I have a number of caches in the Herts/Bucks area (see the bookmark list here) that I won't be able to maintain any more. Rather than just archive them I wondered if anybody would like to take over any of them. If you do, drop me an e-mail (hornet at geocache dot co dot uk) and I'll transfer it/them to you. It'll be on a first come, first served basis. If I don't get new owners for some (any?) of them, I'll be gathering them up to make new caches around my new home area over the next couple of months. So look out Herefordshire, the great western cache desert is about to be filled !! Link to comment

+kewfriend
"Possessing faith the size of a mustard seed, they shall say to the mountains: "Be removed and cast into the sea." I want to do Pulpit Sermon so dont cast it into the sea yet. Link to comment
+Simply Paul
I'd be happy to take Pulpit Sermon, A Gate To Nowhere and Claydon Spooks off your hands. Many of the others are a bit further away from me, but if you pay for flights I'd be happy to keep an eye on your St. Lucia, California and Cyprus ones. Obviously Hornet's Hide 9 - Woodman's has a special place in my heart... Email also sent. SP Link to comment
+SHAJE
I am interested in taking over Greensand Ridge (Bucks) from you. (just sent email). This was my second Cache found on my first day of caching. Link to comment
+Bekandian
Paul: Sorry, we've already nabbed Claydon Spooks, but you have to take Woodmans and rename it to Woodmans - Caught Short Link to comment
+kbootb
Ouch, that's a lot of caches about 20 miles from me that I was working my way towards. If no one else can take on the North London TB hotel it is feasible that I could, but there might be someone better placed. Link to comment
+2202
Does that mean that I can call myself Hornet? as you will now have to be known as The Bulls. Link to comment
+third-degree-witch
I would be happy to care for 'If you go down to the woods today...(Herts) ''GCG7Q5' if nobody wants it, early cache for me so it would be nice to see it continue. Link to comment
Lactodorum
All requests so far submitted have been acted upon, many thanks to all who have replied. As caches get adopted I remove them from my list so keep checking to see what's left. As for being know as "The Bulls" - that's a load of Bull I'll always be a "Hornet" (for my sins) Link to comment
+The Bongtwashes
I would like to adopt the Otterspool Trail series, HH17 - 20, as they were the early ones for me and can get me out of the office at lunchtime. Thanks for all your caches around here. Lucky Herefordshire. Link to comment

Is this the same tdw who had a little tant, converted all his caches to members only, archived them all, then spat out his dummy? Link to comment

+The Hornet
As you say, time moves on Anyway, all my caches have now been reallocated so thanks to those who have taken them over and apologies to those who have offered but were too late. I guess now is the time to close this thread. Link to comment
