Dru Morgan
I am flying in from October 3-9th to these three states, Greenville, Charlotte, and Atlanta specifically. I have chosen three caches, one for each state, Pirate's Garden Treasure, Phone-a-Friend and Peek-a-Boo respectively. Any thoughts on my choices? I will be on business and in a suit most of the time, so big hikes were out. I will also be with my father who lives there who is not much of an outdoorsman, and that will also limit my cache time. But, I didn't want to travel across the country and miss out on the chance to at least get one cache from each state I visit. I will be out again (if business goes well) the beginning of November, so I can possibly do some more then. Let me know if anyone lives along that route and would like to meet up for lunch. I am really interested in finding the best barbecue in the area. -Dru Morgan Quote Link to comment
+jamrasc
With phone a friend in Charlotte, just make sure the webpage is working properly. When we went to do it, the page never refreshed for a 2 days! So we weren't able to log it as a find. Also, in that same area there are a few more caches that are neat and quick grabs. Just do a map search. If you get a chance to do Ol' Cemetery (GCE3ED) in Charlotte, that is a nice one, very interesting. Wow, Greenville has a ton of nice caches. In just the town area alone there are a ton within walking distance of each other. Several virtuals and also traditionals. Do a search around McBee Statue (GC79F3). Have fun. Quote Link to comment
+AtlantaGal
Peek-a-boo is on my side of town. Very high muggle area so consider yourself warned, lol. So will you be on the NW end of Atlanta during your stay then? Quote Link to comment
+medic208
While in Charlotte, you will be maybe 5 or 6 blocks from Galaxy Cache (GCD506) This cache has been a little tricky for some, but it's quick and in a great area. Quote Link to comment
Dru Morgan
Thanks for the great suggestions. If I have time, I'll try to hit the ones mentioned here. Quote Link to comment
