+Milbank
Just like the title says, is there some way to do a search to see who has placed the most caches in a state. I would like to be able to search Minnesota and South Dakota to see who has placed the most caches in them two state. Can it be done? Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
I'm sure there is a way to do it using pocket queries and Geocaching Swiss Army Knife. There is always a way to do something using those tools. Quote Link to comment
+Isonzo Karst
south Dakota you could just PQ the whole state, then ask GSAK to order by placer and eyeball it. Minnesota would be a bit tougher. hmm, there's a site with all hiders with over 100 hides listed . I can't find it, but somebody will offer up that link eventually. Quote Link to comment

Is this the site you were thinking of? It can be sorted by number of caches hidden, but doesn't break them down by state. This site lists top cachers by state, but only shows the number of finds, not hides. Edited September 22, 2005 by DavidMac Quote Link to comment

Ok, I gave that a try and it looks like "Team Family Affair" and I are neck in neck for the most geocaches place in South Dakota. That's kind of a shocker. I hope to place more very soon. +Milbank
Ok, maybe not that close. My search must not have included Virtual Caches. Quote Link to comment

+Milbank
Does King Boreas count? (Had to go check, but I thought I'd seen this question before ) How many caches has he placed in South Dakota? If only I had a memory. Quote Link to comment
+welch
How many caches has he placed in South Dakota? No idea, but your opening post included MN for most hides, being he lives there and has 800+ hides (some of which are bound to be in Minnesota!) I'd guess he's top hider there. Quote Link to comment

I'm sure your right, I just tried to do a quick search on South Dakota. There are to many in minnesota to look the way I did it for South Dakota. Quote Link to comment
+wiseye
I suggest you go to GC home page, click on advanced searches, click By user name(found/hidden). This will give you a list of all caches hidden by that user., when, where (including town & state). You can look up any cacher this way. Quote Link to comment
