+hydee Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 We've moved! Don't worry we don't expect housewarming gifts to be sent to the TB forum mods. The TB forum has been moved to the "Geocaching Hitchhikers" category at the bottom of the page, and the discussion on geocoins will be moved to their own forum called "geocoins". To reduce the clutter in our new home I will not be leaving links in this forum for all of the topics I move. So....welcome to our new home, please make yourselves comfortable Quote
+cache_test_dummies Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 So....welcome to our new home, please make yourselves comfortable Should I take off my shoes before entering? Wouldn't wanna track mud all over that nice new carpet. Seriously, this is a good move. Thank you! Quote
+dhenninger Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 I hit refresh and the TB forum went away Now it's back Thank you! Quote
+the hermit crabs Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Seriously, this is a good move. Thank you! Agreed! Thanks Quote
+Eartha Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Phew! I thought I was fired when I didn't see the link!!! I love you hydee! This is such a good move and I like my new digs! Quite roomy and comfortable. And look at all the Jeeps parked in my garage! Quote
+pdxmarathonman Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Will you be posting when you have completed the move? It would be a good opportunity for thread-owners to identify a thread that got left behind... Quote
+xfalcon1 Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Alot of Goecoin topics got left behind Quote
+Yamahammer Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Nothing like 'New & Improved"!!! In the end, this and other moves should make it easier for the likes of me to find "stuff". Quote
+EcoPit Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Thank you, thank you, thank you! I got so tired of sorting through all that geocoin dribble for serious, interesting TB threads. Quote
+hydee Posted September 14, 2005 Author Posted September 14, 2005 I think all of the geocoin threads have been moved, if you come across one that hasnt, just hit the 'report this post' link and put a note in the report saying it needs to be moved. We'd be happy to move them. Quote
+Jester2112 Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 OMG! I'm psychic. I was just thinking last night that the TB and GeoCoin threads needed to be seperate. I'm not that much into the coins yet as I haven't had the opportunity to find one in the bush yet. Great move IMHO. Quote
+Eartha Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 I think all of the geocoin threads have been moved, if you come across one that hasnt, just hit the 'report this post' link and put a note in the report saying it needs to be moved. We'd be happy to move them. And it works, too. I just moved three more threads, all you have to do is ask Quote
fisherman28 Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 I don't see a Geocaching Hitchhikers forum where is it? Quote
+Anonymous' Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 I was looking at the main forums and thought to myself, wasn't the list longer, so I scrolled down and found this. Thanks! Quote
+Harry Dolphin Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Thanks! I was getting very tired of winnowing through the 787 Trackable Geocoins. I realize that it is a great money-making opportunity for Geocaching.com. And I've even bought a few myself. But, it does seem to have evolved into an entirely separate thread. And I thank you for separating them! Of course, if I find a cache with all 787 trackable geocoins, the page will stretch across fifteen computer screens. Oh, well. Quote

Actually we are working on a solution to the screen doesn't scroll so much. The plan last I heard was if there is more than one coin type in a cache then it will just show a icon that is a stack of coins rather than all 787 individual icons... Quote
+Joypa Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 Thank you! You guys do listen! This is great! Quote
+AuntieWeasel Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Oh! Well done! Ahhhh...yes, this is much better. Now we can go back to being all angsty about our TB's, rather than angsty about coin posts in the TB forum Quote
