+jtd18801
Ok, I’m 15 going on to 16 and I just met a girl and I was talking to my teacher who introduced me to caching and he asked me what would I choose caching or her. I said her in a heart beat. I was just wondering what you would choose or if you have any stories. Luckily my brother and I both think that she would love caching Quote Link to comment
+The Leprechauns
You and your brother are correct. Finding a friend who has common interests is the best way to go. I think your teacher's question was dumb. Quote Link to comment
+robert
Yeah, scope out a few that you think she might like and take her to those. Don't look for some that are going to be real bad bushwacks, but maybe a reasonable hike along a scenic trail. That'll get her hooked, and you'll have both. Quote Link to comment
+carleenp
Seems like an odd question from a teacher, but I figure there must have been some reason for it. Regardless, you should not have to choose. Perhaps the girl would enjoy caching with you. If she didn't, then there is still no reason to choose. You don't have to share all interests with girls you meet and can find common interests to enjoy together while also enjoying your other personal hobbies separately. Quote Link to comment
+Yamahammer
"Girls! Girls! Girls!!!" ... Motley Crew. It was a stupid question by the teach. Take both, the girl and the cache! Quote Link to comment
+AuntieWeasel
Okay, then, here's a tougher one. Which would you choose: socks or beef? Quote Link to comment
+Ambrosia
Okay, then, here's a tougher one. Which would you choose: socks or beef? Why can't we have both? Quote Link to comment
+Super_Nate
CACHING CACHING CACHING CACHING Oh, sorry "Emily"...if your reading this. Quote Link to comment
+jtd18801
well my teacher set up a club for caching and he said it kinda joking. but if yu have tto choose what would you. Quote Link to comment
+Super_Nate
Well, second thought...girls are very vital for sympathy when a man comes home and logs a DNF! Quote Link to comment
+Rebel
Dang. I thought it said "Girls of Caching." I wanted a copy. Quote Link to comment
Black Mage
Dang. I thought it said "Girls of Caching." I wanted a copy. Count me in! As for the original question, I must admit that I am a romantic, thus I'd have to choose love. Quote Link to comment
+Wander Lost
Well, second thought...girls are very vital for sympathy when a man comes home and logs a DNF! I just laugh at my husband. While it's nice to have a girlfriend you should never have to choose between a girl and something you enjoy. You are to young to be serious about anything but school, IMNSHO. Quote Link to comment
+Fergus
I chose the girl. That is why I have found so few caches in the last year. Quote Link to comment
+lillaurel
Hey if not for my boyfriend I never would of started looking under rocks for trinkets Of course, now and then I think he gets jealous of how much attention I pay to the GPS in the car instead of him...j/k Quote Link to comment
+jtd18801
well i think that people are thinking that i am deciding between her and caching, im not i was just wondering if there has been anyone who has had to decideor if they have any good stories. Quote Link to comment
+Team Perks
Okay, then, here's a tougher one. Which would you choose: socks or beef? Personally, I'd love a girl with beef in her socks who I could take caching. Quote Link to comment
+Frodo13
If you can't decide then perhaps your heart isn't committed to either. Or you should simply hold out for a girl who has a nice big set of.. folding topo maps and a nice GPS, if she has a jeep or other 4 wheeler, you might consider getting the ring now. And don't forget the the 4 Cs of diamonds. Good Luck Quote Link to comment
+Thrak
Okay, then, here's a tougher one. Which would you choose: socks or beef? Beef. I hate shoes. I pretty much only wear them when I'm caching. I even wear Birkenstocks at work (no socks). Quote Link to comment

+BBWolf+3Pigs
Okay, then, here's a tougher one. Which would you choose: socks or beef? Personally, I like my beef *in* my socks. While I am caching. With my girl (wife actually). Quote Link to comment
+Langner91
There are days when I wish I had known then, what I know now. There are days when I would say "Choose Geocaching." But, you can't go wrong choosing the girl. They are a whole lot more fun (most days) than ammo cans hidden in the woods. Quote Link to comment
+humanloofa
I would choose all of the above, Women could make caching more fun. They could be helpfull on marathons, and those weekend caching adventures in the woods would be so much more fun.Not to mention two sets of eyes are better than one on any hunt. And I hope not to offend anyone, A good looking woman bending over to get a cache two beautifull finds in one, how can you loose. Quote Link to comment
+dkwolf
yeah, a cute girl along on a cache hunt would be great, but I'd be so distracted I'd never find the cache. Not that I'd complain............... Quote Link to comment
+TheFreshwaterAnglers
....I was talking to my teacher who introduced me to caching and he asked me what would I choose caching or her. The answer to that question should always be "Yes". (Same answer should also apply if teacher asks: Blondes, Brunettes, or Redheads?) T. Quote Link to comment
Stony2008
it kind of sucks, I cant seem to find the courage to tell the person i love that i love her. it also brings up another valuable question do i jepordize our friendship and tell her that i love her or do i not tell her and have life suck. firends will come and go but freindships last a life time. im 16. i would pick her over geocaching any day any time any where. +CO Admin
But, by the time I figured this all out, it was too late; she moved on. And all I had to show for it was some foolish pride which then gave way to regret. She was the girl. I know that now. But, I pushed her away. So I've spent everyday since then chasing Amy. So to speak. Always take Door #3. Otherwise you might run into Sgt O'Malley of the FBI. (you will either get that or not) Quote Link to comment
+BBWolf+3Pigs
It depends...do you walk to school, or carry your lunch? Is it faster to New York or by train? Quote Link to comment

SCP-173
Always take Door #3. My whole world lies waiting behind door number 3. Okay, the obvious answer here is caching. I want something new to find the next time I go to Montrose, afterall. Quote Link to comment
+Docapi
The only way you would ever have to make the choice between the 2 is if the Girl gave you an ultimatum. In that case, I would choose caching- it isn't like it is a destructive thing like excessive drinking or drug use. Any girl that forced you to choose between her and a wholesome, healthy hobby like Geocaching isn't the kind of girl you want anyways. Quote Link to comment
