Milestones

Congratulations are in order. After attending my hectic on my part northern natal event cache the following milestones were met:

DiePienaars - 250

Fish Eagle - 800

(Well done guys amazing achievements)

I myself was going for the 50 when at the bottom of Amajuba mountain I get a critical call out for FNB in Bergville, no choice but to leave the other cachers with a sore heart and head for Bergville. As I reached Bergville I was called by the branch and told that the problem was solved. Tripped switch. I was very upset and had to calm down - what better way other than go and find an elusive cache in the Drakensberg for my 50. As Rhino and Hedgehog could not make it to my event cache I went and found their Cascades cache.

Congratulations on your 50th!

Thanks. Was not quite the way I had planned it but I got it on a great cache non the less. Still leaves me with Amajuba to conquor and oddly enough another one by Africard, Moorfield to try again. I tried it a few months back with no luck due to my GPS sending me in wrong directions the whole time. Will see how the new Vista HCx handles the coverage down the gorge.

I don't know about that '200 by next week'...

Thanks for the vote of confidence - took me a year to get to the 100.

Thanks also for joining me to go get that 100th cache up on the hill!!

Team Ginger is not exactly a 'team' at the moment as you know, so it isn't always possible to go find just any cache I want (I call them 'non girl-friendly' caches hehe). I'm not complaining, I love the challenge - just playing it safe here in Jo'burg.

It is great to have fellow geocachers always willing to accompany me on a caching spree. I love this sport!

Well done Carbon Hunter on the 50. I see that you did the 3 caches in Heidelberg today. I was there on Friday. Pretty easy caches although I saw that the co-ords were a bit out on Armour Car, did you have the same problem. Also Visserman is actually on private property and the owners are not even aware of the cache.

A big congrats to our reviewer erik88l-r on passing the 2000 mark. In fact he has reached 2007 in the year 2007, cool. Well done.....

erik88l-r is also the reviewer for this part of the world! I noticed today when he published a new cache for me that he had hit the 2000 mark! That takes some doing! Well done Erik.

Happy caching.
