Gowenhouse
Having never attended a caching event we would love to put faces to names. How would South West cachers feel about a possible event in the future? Coming from Trowbridge in Wiltshire I know of many many cachers who are nearby. Would you be interested in meeting up? +mongoose39uk
Posting this kind of thread normally results in one thing! You have just volunteered for organising an event! Quote Link to comment
Stuey
I've arranged three events in the south-west in the past which all went really well, so.. great idea. I'm sure you'll do a great job of organising an event (what with you being TV stars 'n' all Quote Link to comment
The Wombles
Kevin, An event around here (Trowbridge, Chippenham area) would be great. However. we may have confusion over which area you are talking about since the previous "South-West" events have been in the Exeter area? Quote Link to comment
Dorsetgal & GeoDog
Sounds good, though I am in Dorset, but if it wasn't too far off the public transport route I would attend. In fact I am going to try a couple of Wilts caches next w/e when I am in Salisbury for a seminar. Quote Link to comment
davy boy
Sounds like an excellent idea, plenty of caches up that way just waiting to be found,go for it.. Quote Link to comment
Stuey
However. we may have confusion over which area you are talking about since the previous "South-West" events have been in the Exeter area? I'll happily travel to Wiltshire for an event as would many other Devon cachers I'm sure. I've had many day trips out that way in the past few years. There are some great caches.... and a million more yet to find! Quote Link to comment
AriExplorer
Sounds great! I'm a Somerset resident and I guess I'd be prepared to travel to anywhere in a 100 mile radius of Taunton Quote Link to comment
