+vegasmoose Posted September 10, 2005 Posted September 10, 2005 (edited) Howdy San Diego geocachers, I'll be visiting your seaside community (staying near Hotel Circle) for a few days and would like to know if there are any "must do" caches in the area (say under 50 miles) that are rated 2.5/2.5 or under (I'm no X-treme cacher) I'm also wondering if anyone in the area would care to join me, I'm free from the afternoons until ??? on 9/28 and 9/29, possibly on 9/27 too (I'm driving in, may cache along the way so unknown arrival time) deaparture time on Friday 9/30 is open I'll most likely have my Jeep, so "off road" is ok (do I need some sort of permit?) Here's the first one in the series: GCQDPV Some very scenic back country and just right for a jeep! I'm usually free on Fridays. Take care, Duncan! Edit: It would be wise to pick up an Adventure Pass : Vendors Edited September 10, 2005 by Duncan! Quote
+HelBob Duo Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 The Sandy Creek Cowboy series are always fun. They're out in the East County, so if you leave by I8, you can hit them on the way out...or in. GCE85D If you make it a little earlier, we're having a picnic on the 25th. You can meet a lot of the local crazies. GCQFFZ Quote
