I can't tell you which one is Asia's oldest, but I can tell you the following:

Oldest active cache in Japan: GC1FB, Maeda Point (in Okinawa)

Oldest active in Honshu (Japan's mainland): GC268C, Oku Hamanako (first log is on 12/16/2001, although the cache placed date is 3/21/2002)

The archived Project APE cache in Japan is quite old, placed on 6/28/2001: GCDF3, Mission 6: Asian Arms

Here's a little update.

I searched for the oldest in the following countries/regions:

China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, South Korea, North Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, East Timor, Laos, Burma/Myanmar, Philippines, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Iran, Afghanistan, and Guam.

I even searched in Russia, but not the other former Soviet Republics.

GC1FB is still the oldest.
