+Markwell Posted September 9, 2005 Share Posted September 9, 2005 My guess is an elite team of crack photographers and specialists in web design pour over all of the submissions. They have a list of particular themes for the day and run them through a committee of no less than 12 members of the Groundspeak image consultants. After the pictures are approved for publication, they submit them to Jeremy Irish who then has final say on the pictures that will or will not be displayed on the front page of the website. Alternatively, I think that a few of the site people go through pictures every once in a while and see which ones they like, and put them up for everyone to enjoy. Link to comment

The two that come to mind are the Sunset on a DNF and the Desert on the Rover cache! Great feature!! Link to comment
+Kirok Posted December 11, 2005 Share Posted December 11, 2005 I love to see the images on the splash page, but I'd like to see the feature enhanced if possible. Perhaps only for paying members? What would be nice, is if the images were randomly selected from caches within a certain radius of your home coordinates. Perhaps it could be an option to turn it on or off on your profiles page. It would be cool to see pictures of local cachers pop up more often. Link to comment
