Hey Now!

Thanks so much for this series, I never would have made 12000 this month if it were not for you guys! I also broke my single month record with 445 caches.

It was Dr. Boggis that set up this thread way back in 2005 so it only seems fitting that we give him a big "atta boy" for 1000 finds (at the " Dr. Boggis, aka 007, Returns To San Diego" event cache.)

WoooooHoooooooooo!!! Well said, LLOT!! And good form, Toby, for making the event your milestone!!! Welcome to the Kilo Club!!!

I've been following this week's King of the Hammers coverage on Pirate 4x4 and saw a name that looked familiar.

I believe that Jim Andrus, who finished in 14th, and therefore qualified for Friday's 135 mile race, was once a geocacher. I can't remember what caching name he went by but he was a good buddy of Tim Slaby. Now I really wish I could go to the event- dang, work sucks sometimes.

1000 caches found--very cool. Big numbers are easy in southern California. Continuing to find caches and enjoy geocaching over the period of years that you have is even more of an achievement. But grabbing the 1000th while you were here was a nice touch.

Hey everybody! Our good friend boysnbarrie just found her 2000th cache! PUD cake for everybody!

Yay!! Congrats, Barrie!!! :huh::)

WoooooHoooooooooo!!!! And where is this imaginary PUD cake?!? I've never gotten any!!! ;)

t210386405.jpg

Please forgive the delay in the PUD cake delivery. I've been otherwise preoccupied (with geocaching & getting over yet another cold bug), so I made the PUD as quickly as possible late this morning, and just finished dropping it off at Harmon's place. He assured me that it would be safe there, and would give FlagMan a nice sized piece while it was still fresh and warm. I did think it'd be wise for me to snap a quick picture - so FlagMan could see what he'll be getting from Harmon ... so there ya go FlagMan!

Aint Harmon, that ol' buddy of mine, a real gem! Pick up your PUD at Harmon's place ... I"m sure none of you wanted my crummy old cold. See how much I care for all of my geo-buddies? Enjoy the PUD!

Barrie darlin'.

You are such a dear and are a crown jewel of the PUD cake kind.

Unfortunately there's been a slight, shall I say, "incident" with the

warm and tasty PUD cake that you brought by for safe keeping

and for sharing.

From what I can see some rascal came into my house while I was

lookin' the other way and whisked the PUD cake away. Ain't nothin'

left but a few crumbs on the cake platter ... and no dirty dishes in

sight. What's this world comin' to?

I shore hope th' thief is found 'cause anybody that eats an entire

PUD cake by hi'self is in for some serious indigestion. ... you

know, like how the pineapple can boil-up on y' and how that much

delicious sweet-stuff can make y' all lethargic.

Hearty congratulations on accomplishing two-thousand finds. You

are a delightful addition to our local Geocaching family. Well done.

Your pal,

Harmon

Note to Self: Wonder if Pepto-Bismol would help?
