+Cap'n Dondo
I've been thinking about different places to set some of my own caches. One idea that popped in my head was the empty field (owned by the city as there is a water department pumping station) to the west of my house. There are several large tree's and it is public area. Would it be in bad form to place a cache that close to my house? I'm quite literally less then 300 feet from the edge of the lot. There are commercial business's surrounding it on 3 of the 4 sides, all within 200-300 feet. The city keeps it nice and mowed. Is this a bad idea? Dondo in Kansas Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
I know of several caches actually set in people's yards. Your idea is no worse. Go for it. Quote Link to comment
+KirklandExplorers
It is a great idea! We have one on the other side of the sidewalk in front of our house. Our young KE (9 and 4) totally enjoy meeting new cachers who come and find the cache. Quote Link to comment

+TresOkies
I know at least two caches in OKC that are in cachers' yards. I don't think it's bad form at all, but you might mention that it's OK for people to be there. Quote Link to comment
