we are takeing a trip from wisconsin to florida we are not pay members yet

how can we find rest area caches or within 1 mile of the interstate or maybe someone has kept there waypoints for there trip

You can go to the Hide and Seek a Cache page and enter the coordinates of where you expect to take your rest breaks. This will give you a list of the nearest caches to those coordinates.

Many don't like the site and it is a bit crude but it does work.....

 

Use Buxley's maps to trace your route out and find a handful of caches along the way.

There are 2 [one North one South] on I75 between Dayton OH and Cincinnati OH. In addition there are several very close to the interstate on the way through town that we can recommend . If you're coming this way drop me and e-mail and I'll send you my list of favorites.

This worked pretty well around my house and would auto update after you stopped moving for a few seconds.

 

EDIT: I took a virtual trip down 94 from St. Paul to Lake Michigan and they just pop right off the screen at ya. Works A+

Why not go to the Geocaching main page..enter a state to check..then get a [map] and zoom in...I use it alot when planning a geotrip...
