+fishfam
What is your favorite hide. One that youve done yourself. And why? Well I've only hid 2. So far, neither are a favorite. Quote Link to comment
+Camo-crazed
I think that my cache GCNC8J is pretty good, But I might be a teensy bit biased Quote Link to comment
+fishfam
Oww, that just hurts my brain. Maybe when the kids and grown and moved away I'll feel more adventours. (sp) Quote Link to comment
+Camo-crazed
Around here we have a tradition of being evil and hiding really devious caches, for example the cache itself is in a fake rock, and that's after you solve the puzzle! Quote Link to comment
+TeamAO
The Quest of Chief Jacob This cache is mind numbing is some respects. Quote Link to comment
+TeamAO
The Quest of Chief Jacob This cache is mind numbing in some respects. I wonder when it'll finally get found...hmmm...maybe these people are driving the cachers away.... Us country folk just don't get the concept of micros. Or mints for that matter. +briansnat
Right now I'd say its my brand new Then and Now: Boonton NJ because my wife and I had so much fun placing it. I took some old photos from the early part of the 20th century and using those, the finder has to determine the spot the photo was taken from. In some the changes are few, in others the changes are many and its not as easy. My wife and I really enjoyed wandering around the town with the old pictures and trying to match them up with what is there today. We were actually surprised that we were able to do so. Before that it was either my Bottom of Lake Passaic III cache because it was such a challenge to hide, or my The Ironman because of the rugged terrain, nice view and plethora of history surrounding it. +dingermcduff
I'd have to say my favorite hide is The Tallest Trees because it is a great area and I make the seekers work their way through the entire tour. A close second would be Pet Rock Point because of the location and theme. Quote Link to comment
+dingermcduff
briansnat, All 3 of the caches you mention look like awesome caches. If I ever find myself in New Jersey I'll do them for sure! Quote Link to comment
Tahosa and Sons
Being a Chef and a Cacher I like to Create some Specials and finish the meal with something Sweet. But probably my favorite is my first Hide which I did before I even found one, let alone find ten Wally World Caches. It will soon have its fourth birthday and is still going strong. And one of my most recent caches really hits me where it means the most Cailey Quote Link to comment
bogleman
One I have hidden (click on the smile) and one I've found Larry's Coon Hunting Cache. Why? I placed to give everyone an understanding of where came from plus you get a every time you find a cache. I want you to earn your when you find my cache. As for the other, many hard finds, poor signals, long hikes and a clever final. Quote Link to comment
+SteveDex
Even though it's temporary disabled, I've been tempted to visit this one. "Use Your Head" heh.. heh... read the logs. My better judgement keeps me away. Quote Link to comment
+BilboB
My first cache find Poetry in Motion is without a doubt still my favorite. It wasnt the difficulty or the view, but it was just a beautiful Vermont Spring day. My 2 kids were running around from cabin fever and my wife actually found the cache, but it was just the entire experience that I will not soon forget. Quote Link to comment
+Fergus
My favorite cache hide to date is my Dark cache. Many of the people who have found it say it is the best cache they have found yet. Quote Link to comment
+Sugar Glider Sweatshop
We hid our fourth cache this morning. I tell you, when I look at some of the clever hides in our area, I sometimes feel like we're playing "Chopsticks" next to Jerry Lee Lewis. As for my favorites, I'd go with any of the "Totally Tubular" series by Dayspring (here in Seattle, Washington) for the mad-scientist mechanical ingenuity of them. When it comes to cleverly hiding a cache in plain sight, I'd pick Art of Tacoma: Locomotive Monument. How many muggles have looked at it and not seen it? Quote Link to comment
+501_Gang
Ours was St Joseph River Tour BONUS You have to do a 17 mile canoe trip to pickup the first two stages to get the coordinates for this one. It was a nice relaxing trip. A big THANK YOU goes out to MaxB on the River for this cache!! Quote Link to comment
Clan Riffster
I think the one I had the most fun putting together was my "Etch-O-Sketch Night Cache". It took about a week to set up. Only takes about 2 hours to complete. I can't help but grin when I read the logs. I've got a series of 5 caches, (CR-1 thru 5), that end up as a puzzle, which tell a mythical tale about the Clan's origins. I had a lot of fun writing the descriptions, however the caches themselves are pretty basic ammo can in the woods stuff. It's hard to pick a favorite from all the kewl caches I've done. Off the top of my head, I'd pick Capaldo's "Towlie II, Evil Towlie". (SP?) It was the first submersible cache we've attempted, and the container was an act of brilliance. Ask me again in 5 minutes, and I'd probably tell you a different cache as my favorite. Quote Link to comment

+KKTH3
Tahosa - we were in that park (Cailey's Cache) Sunday afternoon, but my filter didn't grab that cache. Too bad because it is a real neat park - we go there for family photos every year. Anyway, of my hides, my favorite is easily DON'T PANIC #15 - Heart of Gold. Organizing the puzzle part of the cache was one thing and a lot of fun, but the actual hiding spot is why it is my favorite hide. Pretty much every one of our hides is in a special place for us, but we found a gem of a spot for this cache to reside. Our next cache should be pretty good too - its been in the works for about 5 weeks now, but should be ready to go by next weekend. Quote Link to comment
