Comes from the Harry Potter series, where a muggle is a non-magical person. Generally, it's the people who cause you to use stealth methods and try to avoid detection by. When a cache is accidentally discovered and unfortunately destroyed or degraded by a 'muggle', the cache is said to have been muggled. Quote Link to comment
