+Sputnik 57 Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 The band width on the hosting site must be tiny. It takes a couple of minutes to load the pic, so wait for it (if the server doesn't time out). It's an interesting glitch. Quote
stevesisti Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 He probably used the 76CS to 60CS software conversion kit, allowing the buttons to be used on top of the unit. Quote
harizanov Posted August 30, 2005 Author Posted August 30, 2005 ...and the time travel kit. this might be useful if you use the unit in Australia, as it is on the oposite side of earth Quote
ImpalaBob Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 Put the batteries in backwards and see if it corrects itself. ImpalaBob Quote
ImpalaBob Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 Interesting .... The 60CS has a different PAGE key than the 60C. Does that have something to do with the compass feature? ImpalaBob Quote

+GOT GPS? Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 (edited) I saw another Map60C or CS that had it's display reversed from right to left. This could be a display fault requiring a return of the unit to Garmin. At least my 60C has never had any display problems yet. One problem with this picture is the 60C/cs has 3 rows of icons on the menu screen, and not 2 rows. Edited August 30, 2005 by GOT GPS? Quote
+BoomerFZ1 Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 Musta got it at Harmony Computers (oh no he didn't ). Quote

Garmin told me to return it for a screen replacement, but it got stolen before I had a chance to do so. Since then I moved on to a PocketPC phone + SiRF III (Holux 236) GPS and keep being amazed how much better this combination is for pretty much everything. Quote
