I lost the button that screws in the back of the unit. Does anyone know of a replacement remedy or do I need to go to Garmin and buy the belt clip and button as a combination.

I use the same kind of clip/button setup with my cell phone. On my phone case, the button is kind of sewn into the fabric lining as opposed to screwed in. But I think it might be a good bet there are some phones or cases that use a generic button/clip - possibly of the same size screw threads. If you have a couple hours this weekend, check your local BestBuy, Circuit City, Radio Shack and cell phone dealers.

 

If not, Garmin would probably send you one - maybe even for free...

Many previous posters have stated that Garmin would not replace a lost clip button. Check your local Dollar Store for cell phone accessories with the infamous button. I believe it is a 4-40 screw size. ImpalaBob

Hey, thanks for all the help. I was wondering what the screw size was. Really don't want to strip that baby. I will have a look around and if I find something I will be sure to post the results.

When you get the new button, be sure and buy a little Thread Lock or loctite to go with it. The 60C is notoious for having this button come loose.
