TeamGeoduck
I want to go paperless and I use Apple Mac computers. I am wondering what PDA works best with Apple computers running OSX? Any Advice? Thanks in advance! Quote Link to comment
robert
Palm PDAs work quite well, and you can use CacheMate with MacCMConvert for your pocket queries. Quote Link to comment
gideoncooley
I use palm stuff. They seem to work the best. Quote Link to comment
Mr. Fantastic
I have a Palm Tungsten E and I use mobipocket to read my pocket query information. This works great in conjunction with my iMac. Quote Link to comment
spilk
i use a sony clie (palmos 5) with my mac. admittedly, i use GSAK and garmin mapsource within VirtualPC to do a lot of the work, but that's just out of frustration with the equivalent (or non-existant) analogs on the mac side. Any Advice? Thanks in advance! I use a Bluetooth PDA type of cellular phone that is listed as compatible with (i)Sync for Mac OSX. For me, it means one less "gadget" to carry/break/lose. At the same time, I download waypoints into my Garmin Legend? via a USB/Serial Adapter and the Garmin Serial cable. That being said, I still print the caches that I plan to find. I use the other informtion on whims. Quote Link to comment
robert
Does anyone know if any of those windoze mobile pc work with a Mac ? You'll need this or this. You may experience difficulty getting programs installed (one may be better than the other) but syncing your GPX file to the PPC should be no problem since it's basically just copying a file from your Mac to the PDA.
