+Snoogans
From my TC.com locationless: Venerated Trees (Post it here and I'll archive it there.) What is a venerated tree? In California alone there are four famous examples: The General Sherman Tree (The largest living thing on Earth) The Methuselah Tree (The oldest living thing on Earth) The Grizzly Giant The Lone Cypress I have stood before these trees in awe. Certainly, all venerated trees aren't as awe inspiring as these examples, but to claim a cache you must post the coords of the tree you wish to claim along with the Name of the tree and any info as to how the tree got its name. You must post a picture of you/your GPSr at the tree as well. Rules: The tree MUST have a given name that is publicly known for whatever reason. (You can't just name a tree in your yard Fred and claim a find. Get it?) Link to comment
