+SlabyFam Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 This is what I am proposing We should meet once a month or every other month to discover and trade geocoins People would be welcome to sell, trade and discover coins at the event I will try to pick a mid ground place for the meeting/event spot This should be fun. I think that there are way to many coins comming out to fast to have people buying for others. This will also keep confusion down. Please feel free to offer ideas but don't steal mine lets work togther Please let me know what you guys are thinking???????? Thanks Tim Slaby SlabyFam Quote

We have done this in the past and I welcome it in the future... The way we did it in the past is a different cacher hosts an event about once a month...we tried to mix up the day of the week and the area to make it available to people that could not make a set day or area. Sooooo it is your turn...post the event...it must be submitted 2 weeks prior for GC to approve it. I am down....I have 1000's of coins My wife would like to see go. My one request is that where ever you do it...please make it a beer friendly event...because an event without beer...is just an event. PS When we say beer we mean beer on tap...and not that John of Jahoadi! and John Crap. Quote

+Cornerstone4 Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 Hey coin groupies! Here is another topic we can discuss at the event. (Yes, I think I can make it!) I volunteered to host the inaugural GeoCoin Fest 2007. It will be February 17, 2007 in Temecula. Yep, that is only 1 day before our planned Mega event up there. It will be a busy weekend! Anyway, it appears most of the coin vendors will be there, so it should be a good time. I'll be needin' some help! Quote
