+Haggis Hunter Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 It's happened to me a few times, I always move it slightly so that if the same person comes back they may think it hasn't been replaced. I've usually found that if an adult finds a cache they leave a note saying so and replace it, so it makes me think that it may be kids that do most of the muggling. Quote
Top Cat & Co Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 I too feel the pain that a stolen cache leaves , our new cache lasted only 6 days before someone stole it, containing quality items, but worst of all 2 TB's , when a cache is taken it does not only affect one person, but many in the Geocaching family. Sending an Email to the owner of a stolen TB is like informing them of a missing family member, which is never a nice thing to do!!! Quote
+Snosrap Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 I've set a few town centre caches and I specifically use 35mm film canisters so that if/when they go walkies they are cheap and easy to replace and there is no sense of loss. That said, it's still bl**dy annoying though!! Quote

Going out tonight to check on a micro that has had 2dnf's on and isn't that difficult. I do have to question why you would want to take a 35mm film canister with a sheet with some names on it! Quote
