shrimphead&co Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 hi, Where do you buy those sealable bags that people are using to keep logbooks, TBs, etc dry in the cache box? I've been asking all over and noone seems to know where to get them from. Anyone got any ideas? Shrimphead Quote
dino-irl Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 Tescos do some that are ok but not the best...they're not that expensive though. Quote
*bingoboy* Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 i got some on ebay from ONE STOP PACKAGING SHOP <link> very fast and very cheap too Quote
Sue Gremlin Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 You mean Ziplock bags? How about the grocery store? Quote
Simply Paul Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 (edited) You mean Ziplock bags? How about the grocery store? I think Ziplock is a trademark name. Like Hoover, Biro and Tannoy. That said, I don't recall seeing any brand of self-seal bags in British grocery stores. Or Fruit 'n' Veg shops, as they're know here. I have seen lots of cheap ones on eBay though. Hope that helps. SP P.S. Yes, I am feeling anally retentive today. Edited August 19, 2005 by Simply Paul Quote
Rebel Alliance Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 I get ours dirt cheap from Wilkinsons but if I'm feeling flush I go to Sainsburys or Tesco or any supermarket really. Quote
Skippy and Pingu Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 We get ours at Tescos or Sainsbury's depending on where we're shopping that week. Quote
powerbook_fanatic Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 By the 1000's in Costco. ZipLock is a brand, and a pretty good one - I much prefer that style to the sort of sticky ones that only work once. Malcolm Quote

The Blorenges Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 You know, I thought Tesco had the monopoly or had cut a deal with geocachers because just about every cache we've done has Tesco bags in 'em! Chris Quote
