° Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Ruins of castles from the times with knights, kings, swords, catapults and so on like this one: That's the Unterburg in Manderscheid. Quite simple ... I guess I think there're none in Canada and the US but do they have to be?
treasure_hunter Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Kind of hard to do this dont you think when there are NONE in the US!
Cornix Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 There's already a waymark category "Castles". The castle waymark itself has an entry field for condition of the castle (completely ruined, partly ruined, intact). That should be sufficient. You can create a new waymark for Burg Manderscheid here. Cornix
Flyfishermanbob Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Kind of hard to do this dont you think when there are NONE in the US! True , mind you, ... Not many "wigwam burners" in Europe or Australia either .
Scotsbob Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 (edited) Kind of hard to do this dont you think when there are NONE in the US! So how do you think the rest of the world feels when someone proposes things like muffler men, bridges over the mississippi etc etc Aren't you creating a rule? See how it feels. I do not intend to start a flame war but you have to realize there are more countries than the USA in this. Edited August 25, 2005 by Scotsbob
Milbank Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 I do not intend to start a flame war but you have to realize there are more countries than the USA in this. I'm glad too. It makes Waymarking much more interesting when you can view things from all over the world. Thanks,
