Catagory Proposal: Road Side Memorials

I have always noticed these and wondered about the story behind some, especially the more elaborate memorials. FallenFaery is the driving force behind this idea.

I think this has potential; however, I know a lot of the memorials I've seen are along very busy highways (which is one of the reason they even exist) and stopping for a photograph could be very hazardous. The police discourage these memorials because of the safety hazard from people stopping or even just being distracted by them.

 

I do agree with SpEd (and FF) that some of them have interesting stories behind them. I'll chime in with a "yes, with reservations".

Yes, I like this idea.. but yeh, as long as you can park safely. There's often a reason why those memorials are where they are!

Well of course there should be caution and common sense used when stopping at these, but then again I have heard about Pip's driving while caching.

hate to poke and old proposal, but this is one that is really important from me. In fact, if it gets approved I might see if SPED will let me run it instead of him...who knows.
