+tirediron
Okay, this looks cool, and hopefully puts to rest a lot of the angst that's arisen in recent months... My question: If there are locationless and virts that already exist to cover the cagegory I have in mind (Railroading) do the owners of those 'caches have first crack at the category, or if the category is accepted, do their 'caches get moved into it... or.... +tirediron
ehhh.. to a point; I guess my question, rephrased should be: Since my category would cover several different virt/locationless, should I wait or not? Link to comment
+Hemlock
Heh. There are two identical locationless caches for steam locomotives. I wonder which owner gets to own the waymark category? Link to comment
+KKTH3
I was going to suggest the older one until I noted that the two caches were placed on the same day! Probably explains why there was 2 approved - at the time they were both new locationless caches. Link to comment
Jeremy
ehhh.. to a point; I guess my question, rephrased should be: Since my category would cover several different virt/locationless, should I wait or not? I think that the general idea is that a category shouldn't be overreaching. So if there is a variation of a theme (like trains) you could have train platforms, train museums and train graveyards as separate waymark categories since they can co-exist. But we're still working through the process or whether there should be a process at all. Link to comment
