+2202
Have to drive to DVLA in Swansea on friday as my driving licence has gone missing and need a replacement quick. Any recommendations of caches close to M4 junctions as I am not going to waste all that petrol just for a licence. It will be my 300th too. Link to comment
+Learned Gerbil
The only cache near the M4 I have done is this one - 'trisant tour is just off the M4 a little West of Cardiff - it is well worth an hour or so of your time. The final location could be better, but has historiacal significance - and the multis on the way tell you so much about the history of a small Welsh hiltop community. Link to comment
+macroderma
Well, local to me, between J18 and J15: This is a very straightforward one: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...6e-292e5e920288 If you have a bit of spare time this one isn't far from the M4 [it is behind Leigh Delamare services eastbound] http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...09-475464de4a90 Be warned - wear long trousers, it is bramble city! A bit further away then there is westonbirt [long walk unless you pay admission]]and Fosse Bridge one and two just off the B4040 near Malmesbury This one is near Wootton Basset [J16] and a nice canal walk http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...e3-667a63cd3d0e Finally, this one is quite close to J15 and straightforward - nice chill out spot too, ducks to feed etc http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...54-5944c6d24a8a Hope this gives you some ideas! davethecave
I haven`t done the cache, but I know the area and the cache location quite well and it is a fantastic place. If you have a few hours to spare and a good pair of boots. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...2b-955899617704 Link to comment
