Habs33 Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Hopped on the bike today and set out to find 4 caches. These four are very close to my house. This being my very first time out I thought I would give these a try. Well, I am please to say that I found 2 out of the 4!!!! I was very close to the other 2 but could not find them. I will certainly try again. The Etrex Legend that I bought yesterday worked great giving me very precise locations. Hope to return to the 2 I missed today and perhaps another couple tomorrow. You'll duck out of extended family picnics with excuses like you're going to the store and when you return you have to say the store was out of the item you were looking for and try to explain the scratches or rashes. Soon your children will think you've lost your mind, mine have no interest in caching. If you're single, geocaching will become criteria for a date. Yeah it's a bad thing! Quote
