+osprey46
how do you delete some waypoints individually off the GPSr using GSAK? I have a number of found caches that I'd like to strip off the unit. Of course I could manually delete them one by one but am looking for a way to do this from the PC. I use a Garmin Legend. Quote Link to comment
+CompuCash
Magellan setup allows for clearing the GPS before loading from GSAK. Suggest you just clear all waypoints and then load your next set of wpts from GSAK. Your GSAK database would then have the found caches missing from the current filter shown on the screen ready for upload. cc\ Edited August 7, 2005 by CompuCash Quote Link to comment
+Cymbaline
Before sending new waypoints to the Garmin with GSAK, I first delete the waypoints from the GPSr by Symbol. (If you're like me, you may have some "permanent" waypoints in the GPSr that you don't want to get rid of). So, simply delete all the Geocache and Geocache Found first. Then, in GSAK, delete all the ones you have found. If you're loading a new query, you shouldn't have any. If you're updating an existing query/database, the ones you've found shouldn't have the checkmark next to them. Those you can delete - I do that individually to make sure I don't delete the wrong thing. Quote Link to comment
+osprey46
Thanks. I wonder why I didn't see that. Quote Link to comment
