Keystone
I'm not quite sure what's being asked here, but I am sure that San Diego is someplace in the west, so that is the forum to which I'm moving this topic. Quote Link to comment
ju66l3r
You're going to have to give some more specifics and be a little clearer, geo_boy_2001. Are you attempting to place a cache in San Diego behind the convention center? If so, then it should be within access to you to get the coordinates yourself (otherwise you'll have a difficult time meeting the maintenance requirements of placing a geocache). If you're looking to find coordinates so you can locate the closest cache to that Ampitheatre in Marina Park, then you can start with this cache: Edit Cache II (GC7BDB) which is located almost directly on top of the ampitheater and the "nearest caches" link next to the detail map on the cache page will help you locate other nearby caches in that area of San Diego. EDIT: toz beat me to it, cause I typed too much Quote Link to comment
+Pioneer 'n' Tiff
The Amplitheatre is currently "off limits" for the SD Summer Concert series. The area is fenced and closed to public (I forget what times). The cache closest to the amplitheatre is accessable during daylight hours but not so once the perimeter for the concert is activated. I think I could have said that last part better. Quote Link to comment
+Chuy!
Geo_boy_2001, I work in the Federal Building, dead center in your photo. You says you want a coords reading from the park near the amphitheatre? Anywhere in particular? If not, I got these using MapSource and confirming by plugging them into Google Maps: N32 42.283 W117 09.942 Quote Link to comment
