Bronson
I found a letterbox and i was wondering how i get credit for it on my user stats page? Link to comment
+Miragee
I found one, but it was a "Letterbox Hybrid." In other words, I believe it is listed on this site, as well as the "Letterboxing" web site. If the Letterbox you found wasn't listed on this site, you won't get an icon here . . . Link to comment
WH
Letterboxes are listed on a different site. Unless it happens to be a letterbox hybrid, NO SMILEY FOR YOU. Link to comment
+Yamahammer
Can you list a letterbox on their site and this one??? Get credit for the price of one find? Link to comment
WH
Caches that are cross listed on both geocaching.com and letterboxing.org are called letterbox hybrids which are denoted by the symbol. Letterboxes listed only on letterboxing.org cannot be logged for credit here. Link to comment
Bronson
Ok, I still don't get it. Where do i see the letterbox hybid list? Link to comment
Bronson
NOW I GET IT!!! I figured it out with your help. Thanks Edited July 29, 2005 by Bronson Link to comment
+hydee
Letterbox Hybrids are listed with all other caches. You should be able to search by zipcode or Lat/Long and find the listing. Link to comment
+The Leprechauns
Caches that are cross listed on both geocaching.com and letterboxing.org are called letterbox hybrids which are denoted by the symbol. Letterboxes listed only on letterboxing.org cannot be logged for credit here. A container does not need to be cross listed on a letterboxing site in order to be listed here as a letterbox hybrid cache. It only needs to meet the listing standards here for a letterbox hybrid (i.e., it has a letterboxing stamp). Link to comment

+TotemLake
Just make sure you don't take the stamp. Link to comment
sporkboy
I found one a while back and I didn't have a stamp. I noticed that other cachers had found it and just signed it with a note. I knew about the whole stamp thing so I took out my pen, colored my thumb blue and left a nice thumb print for the owner to find. It's not rocket science or anything but I just thought that I would share. Link to comment
